Bridging The Gap is a Christian band. Brother Joseph and Sister Rhonie Bridges are also capable ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with confirmed ministries both inside and outside Churchhouse walls. For over twenty years, the Bridges have traveled, preached, and made music at revivals, Gospel singings, indoor and outdoor concerts, and regular services.  Both Brother and Sister Bridges write and sing music for the Lord, and play various instruments and types of Christian music, from hymnal songs to upbeat contemporary hits.

In the late summer of 2004, the Lord used a song by Matt and Beth Redman, Blessed Be Your Name, to bring the whole family together as a band.  The eldest son, Griffin, is 19, and plays the bass guitar in the band. The middle son, Brittian, 18, is the drummer.  Their daughter, Elisabeth, is 12. She is becoming very accomplished sign language and also sings.
